Your First Visit to Our Norman Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

You will be greeted by a friendly receptionist who will offer assistance in filling out the small amount of paperwork needed to begin your visit.  Upon completion, one of the therapists will give you a personalized tour of the office.  This follows with a quick and easy digital scan of your spine.

A complete case history is conducted by Dr. Childs. If you are a candidate for chiropractic care an examination follows.  Dr. Childs will study the way you turn and bend, he may test your reflexes all as part of a complete neurological, orthopedic and chiropractic exam.  He may request x-rays and these will confirm other findings and make your care more precise.

Dr. Childs could give home instructions for pain relief, such as ice or supplements. An appointment for your next important visit will be made.

Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Norman parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Norman and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
