Your Second Visit to Our Norman Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Upon your return visit, you will be greeted by a friendly staff member and we encourage you to bring your spouse or family member.  You will be escorted into a room to watch a brief video on chiropractic care, followed by Dr. Childs going over the report of findings.  This will be a complete report of any problems found and a treatment plan to make any corrections needed to restore proper nerve function and structural support.  If you have any questions, Dr. Childs encourages you to ask them.  The more you understand the importance of your chiropractic care, the better you will respond.  This is also the visit that you will usually have your first chiropractic adjustment, any therapy or rehab needed and home instructions. This will be a clinical decision and may vary from patient to patient.

Your care will be decided for you individually and you may require subsequent visits.  Dr. Childs will assess your progress with each adjustment until you have completed your acute stage of care.  Then a re-examination will be performed to show your progress.

Dr. Chuck Asks some important questions of interest to Norman residents - Chiropractor Norman Dr. Chuck Asks...

Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Norman parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Norman and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
